STEP Ukraine is an intensive, virtual, 12-week English language and employment programme for Ukrainians in the UK.

STEP Ukraine is designed to help you find meaningful employment in the UK and improve your English. STEP Ukraine is funded by the UK Government and is completely free for all participants.

It is open to anyone from Ukraine who is over 18 and arrived in the UK on either the Homes for Ukraine Scheme, the Ukraine Family Scheme, or is on the Ukraine Extension Scheme.

You can join if you are unemployed or if you have a job but are hoping to move into more relevant employment. We can also support people interested in self-employment.

The programme includes:

An intensive 10 weeks of 2.5 hour daily English classes by the British Council, with options to take the lessons morning, afternoon or evening
12 weeks of weekly employment support with a dedicated employment advisor, to support with: CV writing, job applications, interview prep, support with job search, and specialist workshops
All classes are remote, and teacher led. They are streamed so you will be with classmates at a similar level.

STEP Ukraine is delivered by World Jewish Relief and the British Council.

STEP Ukraine – це інтенсивна, віртуальна 12-тижнева програма з вивчення англійської мови та працевлаштування для українців у Великій Британії.

STEP Ukraine розроблена з метою допомогти вам знайти повноцінну роботу у Великій Британії та покращити вашу англійську мову. STEP Ukraine фінансується урядом Великої Британії та є абсолютно безкоштовною для всіх учасників.

Програма доступна для будь-кого з України старше 18 років, хто прибув до Великої Британії за Українською спонсорською схемою, Програмою з допомоги сім’ям з України або за Схемою продовження перебування для українців.

Ви можете приєднатись до програми якщо ви не працевлаштовані або якщо ви вже маєте роботу але сподіваєтесь перейти на більш відповідну роботу. Також ми можемо підтримати тих, хто зацікавлений у самозайнятості.

Програма включає:

Інтенсивні 10-тижневі курси англійської мови по 2.5 години занять на день, що надаються British Council, з можливістю обрати час навчання вранці, вдень або ввечері
12 тижнів підтримки з працевлаштуванням з кваліфікованим консультантом з працевлаштування, щоб підтримати вас із: написанням резюме, поданням заявок на роботу, підготовкою до інтерв’ю, підтримкою у пошуку роботи та спеціальними семінарами
Всі заняття проводяться віддалено під керівництвом викладача. Вони потокові, тож ви будете навчатись разом із тими, хто є на тому ж рівні, що і ви.
