On 2 December 1938 the first train carrying ‘kindertransport’ children arrived at Liverpool Street Station.  Watch our video to hear Harry and Ruth’s account of their journey and the gratitude they have for the country that took them in.

We are immensely proud of our founding fathers who lobbied the British government to allow the children in and raised the funds to make it possible.
