Rob Rinder’s ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’

We are delighted that World Jewish Relief’s archives were featured on BBC 1’s ‘Who do you think you are?’ programme last night, which saw Rob Rinder uncover his family history in an emotional and moving episode.

Rob’s grandfather, Morris Malenicky (Moses Malinicky), survived the Holocaust and was brought to Britain after the war by World Jewish Relief, known at that time as the Central British Fund.

If your family, like Rob Rinder’s, came to the UK in the 1930s or 40s from Nazi-Europe, we might have documents in our archives with information from when they first arrived and how we helped them establish new lives. Apply for your family records today by filling out our enquiry form.
