Homes For Refugees
Following the Government’s welcome announcement of the Homes for Ukraine scheme, World Jewish Relief is ready to assist this effort. You can register your interest in hosting Ukrainian refugees using the form on this page.
Families interested in offering accommodation also should register their interest in doing so by going to the Government website and registering there too.
Under the new scheme, people will be able to nominate a named individual to stay with them or in another property for six months, rent free. Those offering accommodation and support should be aware that accommodation must be available for a minimum 6-month period and they must be willing to undergo a DBS check.
We have been working closely with all parts of the Jewish community to centralise all the offers of accommodation being made. We would encourage individuals and community groups willing to offer accommodation for Ukrainian refugees to notify World Jewish Relief.
