Kiev launch of Livelihood Development Programme
Kateryna Roshchyna, World Jewish Relief’s Programmes Officer, emulated a member of the Royal family today as she dramatically cut the ribbon to officially launch our ‘Livelihood Development Programme’ in Kiev, Ukraine.
Over the next ten months the scheme will help support 316 vulnerable people with job seeking advice, employment skills and psychological welfare.
Guests at the launch included Rabbi Alexander Dukhovny and Garik Kulakovsky, editor-in-chief of Jew Buzz, a website for Jewish news in Ukraine.
We are proud to be working with partners: Charitable Fund “DreamLand”, Eastern Europe Foundation and Charitable organisation “2U” in this venture.
