Winter Warmth Appeal

Could you survive the winter without fuel, without central heating, in minus 20 degrees?

That could be Nina's reality this winter.

Nina lives alone in the conflict zone in Ukraine, just 30km from the frontline. War has raged around her for the last four years, with shelling destroying parts of her property. A former teacher, Nina receives just £49 a month in her state pension - not enough to survive on. Now fuel prices have skyrocketed, putting the cost of coal beyond her reach.

Without our support, Nina will freeze.

Please help us give Nina, and other older Jewish people, the gift of warmth this winter.

  • £20 can help an older Jewish person stay warm.
  • £68 pays for a month's supply of coal in Ukraine.
  • £295 covers the cost of fuel for someone like Nina throughout the winter.
