Winter Warmth AppealMake a Donation
With temperatures dropping as low as -20°C and pensions too meagre to pay for heating, winter can be life-threateningly cold for many of the older Jewish people we support in Eastern Europe.
Lyudmila relies on a single small stove to heat her entire home. With temperatures indoors rarely rising above minus 10 degrees, the cost of the fuel is more than double her monthly income. Lyudmila's toilet is outdoors where the temperatures are significantly lower. World Jewish Relief ensures Lyudmila can get the firewood she needs to stay warm. She told us, "Without support, I would freeze in the night."
Will you give the gift of warmth this winter?
