Funds are raised through cultural events; musical evenings, book launches, film screenings and student sponsorship. The scholarships rebuild the lives of the students and their communities. In the words of one of the committee, who came to the UK as a refugee with World Jewish Relief’s help, “"They can take away your home but education is one thing they can never take away from you".
