Ride For The Living: Cycle, Walk or Run and help World Jewish Relief
Ride for the Living (RFTL) is a comprehensive fitness experience commemorating the Holocaust and honouring the rebirth of the Jewish community in Krakow, Poland. RFTL combines Holocaust education with a memorable 60-mile bike ride from the gates of Auschwitz-Birkenau to the Jewish Community Centre (JCC) Krakow, giving participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in Krakow’s Jewish past, present, and future, either in-person during the 4 day event.
This June, Ride For The Living returns in a big way and you don’t even need to get on a plane!
RFTL has now expanded to also include remote participation through the brand new Ride for the Living Global Challenge. You can participate in this meaningful event from the comfort and safety of their own community.
Throughout June, cycle, run, or walk your way to 60 miles over the course of a month, week, weekend, or day and keep in touch with other participants to share your progress and goals.
Last year the first ever Virtual Ride For The Living set a record when over 1,300 people from around the world came together to ride, run, and walk a total distance greater than 6 laps around the Earth in memory of the lives lost in the Holocaust and in honour of the revival of modern Jewish life in Krakow. Following the success of the Virtual Ride for the Living, it was clear that the program had grown into something much larger - a global movement with friends and partners from 16 different countries who joined together to celebrate the resurgence of Jewish life in Poland. Join us in June 2021 for the Ride for the Living Global Challenge.
