Recruitment Monitoring Form

World Jewish Relief Privacy Policy

We are the UK Jewish community’s leading international development and humanitarian agency. We tackle Jewish poverty, helping the world’s poorest Jews and reaching beyond our community. Our mission is to assist those living in poverty, affected by disaster or who are displaced, to earn a living, find employment and be better able to support themselves.

This is an exciting time for World Jewish Relief’s core areas of humanitarian and livelihoods work. The purpose of the role is to support and strengthen the Humanitarian and Livelihoods programmes through developing strong local partnerships, excellent programme management and Monitoring and Evaluation support, sound administrative and financial know-how, and a desire to grow sector knowledge.

This role will be integral to supporting the implementation of FCDO funded programmes in Rwanda and in growing our livelihoods portfolio in Africa; an area where we are building significant expertise. In addition, we have a highly ambitious strategy to continue to expand our humanitarian capabilities. Having joined the Start Network and signed up to Charter4Change, and in recent years responded to disasters from Mozambique to Indonesia, East Africa, Bangladesh, Haiti and beyond, we are committed to accessing more funds to ensure we can respond more disasters in an increasingly effective and impactful way and to holding ourselves to core humanitarian standards.
